1. Dutch Bros Annihilator with Soft Top

The Annihilator iced coffee shows up on just about every best-of Dutch Bros list, and it earns the top spot on mine too. It is usually the first drink I mention when someone asks what to try.

The first time I ordered it, I understood why people describe it like dessert in a cup, because it goes much sweeter and richer than a basic iced coffee.

The syrup gives the coffee a chocolatey, lightly nutty flavor, and the breve adds a thick, velvety body that I notice right away.

I usually order it with a soft top, Dutch Bros' version of Starbucks sweet cream cold foam.

It is basically a regular Golden Eagle with sugar-free syrups.

That makes it easier to keep the drink sweet without giving up the flavor I came for.

The tradeoff is the alternative sweetener taste, which I do not love, even though it is manageable when I am watching carbs.
