If I could get away with it, I’d probably just order a cup of caramel with a side of coffee.

Of course, that’s probably not the most ‘adult’ decision, but luckily Dunkin’ Donuts has plenty of mouthwatering caramel-based drinks that I can’t live without.

Buttery, sweet, and luxurious, they’ve meticulously crafted 7 amazing caramel drinks that everyone should try!

1. Salted Caramel Cold Foam Cold Brew

Dunkin Donuts Salted Caramel Cold Brew

This new menu addition is Dunkin' Donuts' answer to Starbucks Salted Caramel Cream Cold Brew.

The Salted Caramel Cold Foam is a rich, sweet topper added to Dunkin's cold brew coffee—a little like whipped cream but softer and creamier.

My favorite part is that this drink is served with a special lid that allows the cold foam to mix gradually with the cold brew and cream as I sip.[1]

2. Caramel Mocha Latte

Dunkin Donuts Iced Caramel Mocha Latte

I feel like this is Snickers in a cup, with luscious chocolate and buttery caramel complementing the bold and bitter espresso.

Available either as a hot latte or an iced latte, it’s the perfect alternative to dessert.

A medium caramel mocha latte is 260 calories and has 52 grams of sugar (not including if you add toppings!)

3. Coconut Caramel Iced Coffee

The coconut flavor at Dunkin is one of the most authentic I’ve had the pleasure of trying.

While coconut and caramel isn’t the first flavor combo that comes to mind, it’s absolutely delicious!

Nutty, smooth, buttery, and soft, the Coconut Caramel Iced Coffee is something of a masterpiece.

It’s finished with whip and caramel drizzle for the perfect addition to any scorching summer day.

4. Vanilla Caramel Macchiato

Dunkin Donuts Iced Decaf Macchiato with Vanilla Syrup

The Vanilla Caramel Macchiato from Dunkin’ Donuts contains 2 shots of espresso, frothed milk, and French vanilla, hazelnut, and caramel flavor shots.

The blend of vanilla, hazelnut, and caramel combined with steamed milk make a rich, indulgent coffee experience that always gets me hyped for the rest of the day!

The whipped cream and caramel drizzle on top is the finishing touch to a work of art!

5. Caramel Craze Signature Latte

Dunkin Donuts Iced Caramel Craze Signature Latte

One of Dunkin's Signature Latte series, this drink includes rich caramel drizzle blended with creamy milk, contrasted by robust espresso.

Ordered on ice or hot, it’s super tasty, with milk to and whipped topping sprinkled with cinnamon to round out the bitterness of the espresso.[2]

A medium does have 410 calories, so this one is definitely more of a dessert than a morning coffee!

Barista HQ Tip
  • Ask for oat milk instead of regular. It’s more nutty and lower in calories.

6. Caramel Swirl Iced Coffee

Dunkin Donuts Caramel Swirl Iced Coffee

The Caramel Swirl Iced Coffee is one of the sweetest on the menu, which is really saying something.

However, if I’m really feeling like treating myself, I’ll order the iced coffee on a hot summer day.

It doesn’t really taste like coffee to be fair - rather like a smooth, caramel-milk concoction topped with indulgent whip.
Barista HQ Tip
  • Ask for caramel flavor shots instead of caramel swirls for less sugar and sweetness, with full flavor.

7. Caramel Swirl Cappuccino

Dunkin Donuts Caramel Swirl Cappuccino

Another of my favorite drinks to take advantage of the caramel swirl is a classic cappuccino.

Strong espresso with foamed milk combines with sweet caramel flavor to make a wonderful afternoon pick-me-up.

This will suit those traditional coffee and espresso drinkers who may not be ready for a new-age iced caramel latte.

They can discreetly enjoy their caramel swirl by using cappuccino foam as a Trojan horse.

What Brand Of Caramel Does Dunkin Donuts Use?

Dunkin’ uses Torani Caramel Syrup, an Italian-based gourmet flavor company.

This caramel is made from pure cane sugar and natural flavors.[3]

3 Pro Tips To Order Caramel Drinks at Dunkin Donuts

Here is how I order caramel drinks from Dunkin’ Donuts every time:

1. Start with the signatures

I recommend starting with the classic or ‘simpler’ drinks.

The caramel drinks that Dunkin’ Donuts offers have specifically been designed around caramel's rich and delicious taste of caramel.

The Caramel Craze Latte and the Salted Caramel Cold Foam Cold Brew are great options to get started.

2. Lean into swirls

Adding caramel swirl can be done to just about any coffee drink, instantly adding a bit of sweet luxury.

3. Watch out for special menu features

The Dunkin’ Donuts chain likes to introduce new options and seasonal drink features, like Dunkin Pumpkin drinks, many of which include caramel.

I know I’ll be on the lookout to see which new drinks I can add caramel swirl to!
