As much as I love coffee, freshly brewed tea leaves will always have my heart.

While Dutch Bros is renowned for their unique coffee combinations, they also have a wide range of funky and vibrant tea options.

These aren't your standard British milk teas, that's for sure!

So what should you pick from the Dutch Bros tea menu? Look no further! I'm serving up a list of the best tea from Dutch Bros to help you get started.

I've been on a mission to try all 38 Dutch teas to bring you the very best flavors - let's see which flavors made a splash!

Double Rainbro Tea Standard Ingredients
  • green tea or Paris black tea
  • strawberry syrup
  • peach syrup
  • coconut syrup

The Double Rainbro is a colorful top seller that makes me feel like I'm drinking a double rainbow.[1]

The double rainbow guy was a staple meme of my early teen years, so I absolutely love this throwback to a classic. [2]

The fruity freshness of the strawberry and peach syrup perfectly sweeten the organic tea base no matter which you choose (though I'm partial to the Paris Black).

I'm normally a coconut hater but the coconut syrup at DB really brings those tropical vibes that make their tea quench my thirst even more.

This tea is an easy way to inject some fun (and sugar!) into your day. A large iced Double Rainbro has 66 grams of sugar, so I tend to get a medium or smaller.

Tips From A Barista
  • Watching your sugar intake? Try asking for sugar-free syrup for the same great taste with fewer calories!
  • Not feeling like having a hot tea? Ask for your tea iced or blended for a whole new taste experience!

2. Green Tea Lemonade

Dutch Bros Green Tea Lemonade
Green Tea Lemonade Standard Ingredients
  • Signature lemonade
  • green tea

Nothing beats an ice-cold lemonade in the sweltering heat - adding green tea brightens up both the color and the tartness of the lemon.

Green tea lemonade makes for an ultra-refreshing pick-me-up regardless of the weather.[3]

I used to order this a lot back when I was trying to start loving green tea. It's not exactly the most faithful version of green tea, but it is certainly one of my favorites!

I love having this popular low-caffeine treat as an afternoon boost in the summer.

Palm Beach Standard Ingredients
  • Green Tea Or Paris Black Tea
  • Pomegranate Syrup
  • Peach Syrup

When I'm craving candy, I reach for the sweet and fruity taste of a Palm Beach tea.

This simple tea is bright and delicious, brimming with sweet and tart fruity flavors that work well with both tea bases

The pomegranate notes are my absolute favorite part of the Palm Beach - I love how they complement the tea base and lift up the peach flavor. Nothing beats it on a hot beach day.

If you're going to the beach, you just have to get a Palm Beach!

I prefer the blended version, but the iced version is a great choice for anyone cutting calories - a medium cup only has 240 calories.

Vanilla Chai Standard Ingredients
  • Chai Tea
  • Your choice of milk
  • vanilla syrup

There's nothing more comforting to me than a creamy chai, and DB's Vanilla Chai always hits the spot.[4]

Chai has been a staple of my life since I was a kid - it feels like a hug in a mug to me. Creamy milk, sweet vanilla, notes of cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg - what more could you ask for?

I love ordering a DB chai with oat milk for an extra creaminess (especially now that I'm lactose-intolerant and can't have whip anymore - boo!).

Both the hot and iced versions are wonderful and I switch between them depending on the season.

A large hot chai will even offer you with 12 grams of protein - could be the perfect excuse for a post-gym pick-me-up.

Tips From A Barista
  • Ask for a soft top or whip topping for an even creamier experience.

5. OG Gummybear

Dutch Bros OG Gummy Bear Green Tea
OG Gummybear Standard Ingredients
  • Green Tea Or Paris Black Tea
  • pomegranate syrup
  • passion fruit syrup
  • watermelon syrup
  • grapefruit syrup

Growing up in the land of Haribo, I was obsessed with gummy bears as a kid - the OG Gummybear really is a dream come true for kids (and kids at heart!).

Very sweet and brightly colored, the Gummybear is all about packing a fruity punch.

Tart grapefruit and passionfruit blend so well with the sweetness of the pomegranate and watermelon.

Just when you think you're heading for a sugar coma, the tea washes everything in a mellow freshness.

Anytime I need to relive my childhood or wanna play games all day, I reach for an OG Gummybear.

Tips From a Barista
  • Got kids? On a low-caffeine diet? Try asking for decaf green or Paris black tea instead.

Golden Eagle Chai Standard Ingredients
  • chai tea breve (half and half)
  • vanilla syrup
  • caramel sauce
  • whipped cream
  • caramel sauce drizzle

The Golden Eagle Chai is another solid regular in my DB drinks rotation.[5]

Sipping on a hot Golden Eagle Chai is so comforting, especially in the fall. The sweet vanilla and caramel blend so well into the creamy breve - a true hug in a mug.

Long walks in the park are never the same without my hands wrapped around a steaming cup of Chai.

The blended version is just like a having a vanilla milkshake with all the caramel sauce on top. I love making mine Picture Perfect just for that little chocolatey sweetness that ties everything together nicely.

I admit, I tend to stay away from this delicious Chai when I'm watching my diet - a hot, large Golden Eagle Chai is a full-on dessert with 710 calories.

Tips From a Barista
  • Fancy dessert? Ask for your Golden Eagle Chai to be made Picture Perfect. You'll get plenty of chocolate and caramel syrup and whipped cream with your Chai - talk about the perfect way to end the day.

Peach Tea Standard Ingredients
  • green tea or Paris black tea
  • peach syrup

When summer is so hot out that I'm sweating like a soda can at a barbeque, I grab myself a DB Peach Tea.

Similar to an Arizona Iced Tea, the Dutch Bros Peach Tea is perfect for feeling like a Southern belle.[6

I am a lifelong peach black tea fan and adore how the simple sweet peach syrup blends with the mellow Paris black tea.

It's a simple drink that is both refreshing and lightly sweet.
The sugar levels are also on the low end for Dutch Bros with a medium hot version only having 23 grams of sugar.

8. Gem Berry

Dutch Bros Gem Berry
Gem Berry Standard Ingredients
  • green tea or Paris black tea
  • blackberry Syrup
  • vanilla Syrup
  • raspberry syrup

Sometimes the craving for a slice of fresh berry pie is so strong but no bakeries are nearby. When I can't get a cheeky slice, I grab myself a Gem Berry Tea.

The blackberry and raspberry bring the sweetness I love while the vanilla is what transforms what would be a fruity punch into more of a pie filling vibe.

The tea bases help prevent everything from getting too sweet and bring some mellow freshness to the drink.

I personally prefer my Gem Berry blended but it can be so refreshing hot on a freezing winter morning. Try it out for yourself on your next run - I dare you to try not to think of pie!

Tips From a Barista
  • Ask for your Gem Berry with soft top for a berry pie and ice cream vibe!

Tropical Tea Standard Ingredients
  • green tea or Paris black tea
  • passion fruit syrup
  • coconut syrup
  • blue raspberry syrup

You don’t need to book an expensive trip to the islands when you sip a Tropical Tea.[7]

So many classic tropical flavors star in this delicious drink - sweet and slightly tart passionfruit, creamy and nutty coconut, bright and tart blue raspberry. All this fruity goodness goes so well with the mellow tea base no matter which you pick.

Tropical Tea always has me yearning for white sandy beaches and salty ocean breezes - especially when it's grey and stormy outside.

10. Strawberry Lavender Green Tea

Dutch Bros Blended Strawberry Lavender Green Tea
Strawberry Lavender Green Tea Standard Ingredients
  • Green Tea Or Paris Black Tea
  • lavender syrup
  • strawberry Syrup

A drink made for sophisticated spring picnics in the park, the Strawberry Lavender Green Tea is perfect for warm afternoons.[8]

I admit, I was not sure how I'd feel about lavender syrup - I like the scent but am not normally big on floral tastes.

However, there is something about the way the floral notes blend with the sweet strawberry and mellow tea base that just does it for me.

The Strawberry Lavender Green Tea feels like spring in a cup for me, especially with the green tea base. Lavender latte fans will love this sweet take on a classic.

11. Paris Tea

Dutch Bros Paris Black Tea
Paris Tea Standard Ingredients
  • Paris Black tea

Sometimes I don't need a bunch of bells and whistles to quench my thirst - a simple black tea is often all I need.

Dutch Bros' famous black tea is a wonderful base for drinks but is equally delightful on its own.

A black oolong tea, the Paris has fruity notes and hints of bergamot in its scent - a key ingredient in Earl Grey.

I often love having a cup of Paris Tea with a splash of oat milk by my side while I read a book at the library. If I feel like treating myself, I sometimes get mine iced with soft top for an extra creamy finish.

12. Dragon Slayer

Dutch Bros Dragon Slayer Tea
Dragon Slayer Standard Ingredients
  • Green Tea Or Paris Black Tea
  • raspberry Syrup
  • blue raspberry Syrup
  • blackberry Drizzle

Want an easy way to feel epic? Just order a Dragon Slayer Tea. Just don't expect a knight in shining armor to come sweep you off your feet.

This drink is all about the berries - raspberry, blue raspberry, and blackberry are all here for a fruity treat. A sweet and tart way to cheer myself up after a long day.

Dragon Slayer Tea tastes very similar to the Dutch Bros line of Rebel energy drink of the same name but without the high caffeine count.

I adore the deep purple color of the Slayer, it feels so mythical. Plus, purple is my favorite color, so I'm biased.

Huge glittering scales and honorable knights come to mind while sipping on the Dragon Slayer. I often daydream about all my favorite fictional dragons and fantasy creatures while drinking it - not a bad way to get inspired as I write!

Tips From a Barista
  • Not feeling like having tea? Try the Dragon Slayer as a Lemonade, Rebel, or Frost.

Passion Fruit Tea Standard Ingredients
  • green tea or Paris black tea
  • passion fruit syrup

A simple but refreshing fruity drink, the Passion Fruit Tea is a tropical getaway in a cup.[9

The Passion Fruit Tea is another ol' reliable for when I want something simple and fruity without overcomplicating things. Slightly tart and sweet, it's not too overpowering.

I always think of summer when I have the Passion Fruit Tea, but it tastes great all year round!

I highly recommend adding coconut milk to increase those tropical vacay vibes.

14. Marmalade

Dutch Bros Marmalade Black Tea with Passion Fruit, Orange, and Guava
Marmalade Standard Ingredients
  • Green Tea Or Paris Black Tea
  • strawberry Syrup
  • orange Syrup
  • grapefruit syrup

When I need a zesty and fruity way to start my day, I treat myself to a Marmalade Tea.

I love how much zest is packed into one small package - the sweet strawberry, the bright orange, and the tart grapefruit all work so well with the mellow black and green tea bases.

I prefer grabbing a hot Marmalade on my morning Dutch Bros run (sometimes with toast in my mouth on rush days!) but it tastes great anytime. After all, breakfast food (and flavors) are always good no matter when you have 'em.

15. Sweet Sunrise

Dutch Bros Blended Sweet Sunrise Green Tea
Sweet Sunrise Standard Ingredients
  • Green Tea Or Paris Black Tea
  • Peach Syrup
  • passion fruit Syrup
  • orange Syrup
  • banana Syrup

Watching the sunrise is such a sweet and invigorating experience - that I can never wake up for! Good thing Dutch Bros have condensed the glory of the morning sun into a delicious drink (that I can have at a more reasonable hour!).

Sweet peach, slightly tart passion fruit, zesty orange, and creamy banana all meld so well with the tea base to wake your senses right up.

The Sweet Sunrise is here to shake off your sleepiness and help you seize the day. I absolutely love the color of the Sweet Sunrise - I often hold it up to the light and enjoy how its gold hue lights up.

I may not strong enough to enjoy a Sweet Sunrise at sunrise, but I can confirm that it tastes just as sweet at sunset.

How to Correctly Order a Dutch Bros Tea Drink

Want to give one of these yummy teas a try? Ordering one for yourself is both simple and straightforward. To get a Dutch Bros tea, follow these steps.

1. Firstly, Choose A Size

Like any other restaurant or coffee shop, the first thing you need to do is choose what size drink you want. There's no fancy Talls, Grandes, or Ventis here, just simple stuff.

Choose from a:

  • Small (12-16 ounces)
  • Medium (16-24 ounces)
  • Large (20-32 ounces)

2. Hot or Iced?

At Dutch Bros, there's more than one way to enjoy your tea. You can choose to have it:

  • Hot
  • Iced
  • Blended

I switch between them all depending on the flavor, time of year, and my mood. I recommend giving them all a try - the temperature can really affect how each flavor tastes!

3. Pick A Flavor

At Dutch Bros, there are over 30 different flavor combinations you can try. There are a handful of base tea leaves, green or Paris black, available alongside a whole host of syrups:

  • Almond
  • Almond Roca
  • Banana
  • Blackberry
  • Blue Raspberry
  • Chocolate macadamia nut (can be sugar-free)
  • Cinnamon
  • Coconut (can be sugar-free)
  • Creme de Menthe (my absolute favorite with chocolate!)
  • Hazelnut (can be sugar-free)
  • Irish cream (can be sugar-free)
  • Kiwi
  • Lime
  • Orange
  • Passion fruit
  • Peach (one of my favorites!)
  • Peppermint (seasonal – can be sugar-free)
  • Pineapple
  • Pomegranate (an unexpected fave!)
  • Pumpkin Pie (seasonal)
  • Raspberry (can be sugar-free)
  • Ruby red grapefruit
  • Salted caramel
  • Strawberry (can be sugar-free)
  • Vanilla (can be sugar-free)
  • Watermelon

The teas available on their own or as a base for the drinks menu include:

  • Cinnamon Spice
  • Citrus Ginko
  • Decaf Ceylon
  • Early Grey
  • Black Paris Tea
If you don't like a pre-selected combination on the menu, have fun experimenting with tea flavors to create something new.

Even just trying one new flavor a day has you set for 38 days - that's not even counting the tonnes of unique flavor combos you can make by getting creative!

4. Decide On Extras

Now that you have the body of your drink ready, you can choose a few extras. If you would like milk, there are the following options:

  • Almond
  • Coconut
  • Dairy
  • Oat

I love oat milk the most because it is so creamy (and works better with my stomach), but each dairy item brings something to the table when it comes to tea.

Once you have decided to add milk or not, you can choose a topping or two. For toppings, you can choose to have cream, drizzle in various flavors, or both.

  • Whipped cream
  • Soft top
  • Caramel drizzle
  • Dark chocolate drizzle
  • White chocolate drizzle

This is where you can get really creative and finish your tea off with a flourish.

Now your drink is all ready to go.

5. Add Some Snacks?

Feeling hungry? You can decide to add a delicious baked good to your order. Dutch Bros have a range of sweet treats on the menu, including muffin tops and granola bars.[11]
