Dutch Freeze Picture Perfect Standard Ingredients
  • Coffee
  • Caramel and Chocolate Sauce Drizzle
  • Whipped Cream

The Picture Perfect Dutch Freeze is a decadent blended coffee featuring a combination of caramel sauce and chocolate sauce.

I know when I order it I’ll unashamedly have a chocolate mustache the rest of the morning due to the sauce drizzled over the whip, and that’s ok.

With chocolate milk and espresso blended with the chocolate and caramel sauces, it’s sweet and perfect for converting a non-coffee fan.

Plus, it’s arguably the most Instagram-worthy beverage out there, living up to its name.

Tips From a Barista
  • The Dutch Freeze Picture Perfect is one of the higher calorie options on the menu so I wouldn't consider it a ‘health-conscious' drink.

2. Dragon Slayer Rebel

Dutch Bros Blended Dragon Slayer Rebel
Dragon Slayer Rebel Standard Ingredients
  • Dutch Bros Rebel™ energy drink
  • raspberry syrup
  • blue raspberry Syrup
  • blackberry drizzle

The Dragon Slayer Rebel is a unique and delicious drink that packs a sweet punch.

It combines the flavors of blue raspberry and raspberry syrups with a drizzle of blackberry to create a truly mouth-watering experience.

I love adding a soft top to the Dragon Slayer Rebel for an extra creamy, more “dessert-like” texture.

If you’re watching your macros but don’t want to skimp on the flavor, just ask for your drink to be as “sugar-free as possible.”

Tips From a Barista
  • The Dragon Slayer Rebel is quite heavy on the sugar and carbs. Try asking for it ‘sugar-free’ instead, or without the blackberry drizzle.

3. Flap Jack Breve

Dutch Bros Iced Flap Jack Breve
Flap Jack Breve Standard Ingredients
  • Espresso
  • half and half
  • salted caramel Syrup
  • vanilla syrup
  • white chocolate sauce

Have you ever wanted to drink your breakfast?

Now you can, with the Flap Jack Breve.

I propose this to be the new official drink of Canada, with its maple syrup-like, caramel flavors.

Featuring a blend of salted caramel, vanilla syrup, white chocolate sauce, and half and half, it’s as indulgent as it is luxurious.

If you’re craving the breakfast-food drink on a hot day, try it blended or on ice!

Tips From a Barista
  • Love chocolatey pancakes? Substitute the half and half for chocolate milk!

I'm diving deep into the Dutch Bros secret menu with this one.

The Cotton Candy Frost is a nostalgia-invoking take on a shake, with an interesting blend of blue raspberry syrups and white chocolate.

Kids go crazy for it - ask your Broista to add some whip and birthday sprinkles to create a treat they’ll want every time.

It’s personally a little on the sweet side for me (and quite high in calories and carbs), but if you’re looking for a sugar rush, the Cotton Candy Frost is perfect.

Golden Eagle Breve Standard Ingredients
  • espresso
  • half and half
  • vanilla syrup
  • caramel sauce
  • whipped cream
  • caramel sauce drizzle

The  Dutch Bros Golden Eagle is one of the best drinks from Dutch Bros.

It’s a caramel macchiato made with a bold espresso and complemented by rich caramel and vanilla syrups, topped with caramel drizzle

The way the amazing espresso taste really shines through makes it impossible to replicate at Starbucks, or any other popular chain.

When the leaves start changing, I also love ordering the Golden Eagle Chai, which is a blend of caramel macchiato and slightly-spicy chai tea.

If you're craving these drinks at home, the best thing to do is start practicing your barista (or bro-ista as Dutch Bros calls it) skills at home!

Check out some of the best mid-range espresso machines under $1500 to get you started.

Tips From a Barista
  • If you’d like a smoother, milder flavor, you can opt for the Dutch Bros white coffee.

6. Rebel Dino Egg

Dutch Bros Dino Egg Rebel with Soft Top
Rebel Dino Egg Standard Ingredients
  • Dutch Bros Rebel™ Energy Drink
  • blue raspberry Syrup
  • strawberry Syrup
  • white chocolate syrup
  • drizzle of almond Sauce

The Dutch Bros Rebel Energy Drink was introduced to the menu over 10 years ago, and has had various mods along the way.

For me, the Dino Egg is the best of the bunch, combining classic flavors of blue raspberry and strawberry.

The white chocolate syrup and almond drizzle add a kind of luxe nuttiness that makes me keep coming back to this gorgeous drink when I need an energy boost.

The Dino Egg also reminds me of the Tiger’s Blood shaved ice I used to get as a kid with my grandma every weekend, so I have a weak spot for it.

Vanilla Cold Brew Standard Ingredients
  • Nitro Cold Brew
  • sugar-free vanilla Syrup

In terms of cold coffee drinks, it’s hard to beat the Vanilla Cold Brew.

When I’m really watching my sugar intake, this is my daily drinker.

This drink is a nitro-infused, 3-bean cold brew coffee has a well-rounded vanilla bean taste to balance out the boldness of the coffee.

I get mine with a shot of sugar-free Irish Cream for a delicious low-carb beverage that shoots my energy up immediately.

Tips From a Barista
  • Add a shot or two of cream or milk for a richer texture.

8. Snickers Mocha

Dutch Bros Iced Snickers Mocha
Snickers Mocha Standard Ingredients
  • Espresso
  • caramel Sauce
  • hazelnut Sauce
  • mocha Sauce

Don’t let Mars know about this, but I think Dutch Bros does the Snickers even better.

Melding caramel, hazelnut, and dark chocolate, it’s rich and indulgent with more vibrant flavors than the candybar (in my opinion).

My favorite part is the soft whipped cream and caramel and chocolate drizzle to top it off.

The default for this recipe is chocolate milk, but you can also sub it out for almond, soy, or other milks for a sugar-free alternative.

Tips From a Barista
  • When it’s cold out, I love the Snickers Hot Chocolate, which is their regular hot chocolate with hazelnut and caramel added.

The White Chocolate Annihilator Standard Ingredients
  • espresso
  • half and half
  • white chocolate macadamia nut syrup

Speaking of chocolatey nuttiness, the White Chocolate Annihilator is a perfect option.

Combining white chocolate with macadamia nut flavor, it’s decadent but not too rich.

Mixed with their smooth cold brew and breve milk, it’s a little too easy to drink.

Trust me on this: order it iced and get it with a pillowy soft top for a beverage that’s as energizing as it is mouthwatering.

Just a few sips in and you’ll be ready to “annihilate” any pending tasks for the day!

10. Christmas Morning Chai

Dutch Bros Iced Christmas Morning Chai with Soft Top
Christmas Morning Chai Standard Ingredients
  • chai tea
  • white chocolate Syrup
  • nutmeg Sauce
  • cinnamon

The Christmas Morning Chai is my “comfort” drink, taking me back to memories of sitting in my pajamas, waiting to open presents while my mom yells at the cat for scaling the Christmas tree .

It’s made with a festive combination of white chocolate, nutmeg, and cinnamon, making it my spicy little go-to drink when we all hop in the car and go out to look at Christmas lights.
Creamy, sweet, and finished with a kick, if you’re a Chai fan, you have to try this one. In fact, I think the only other that can touch it is the Golden Eagle Chai!
Tips From a Barista
  • The Christmas Morning Chai can be ordered hot, iced or blended, so you can have it any time of the year!

911 Cold Mixture Breve Standard Ingredients
  • 6 shots of espresso
  • half and half
  • Irish cream syrup

I’m sorry, but no one can tell me that a lack of coffee is not an emergency.

The 911 Cold Mixture Breve is a high-octane blend of six shots of espresso, half and half, and Irish cream syrup. [2]

I love my coffee with half and half, so I’ll order this one sugar-free when I’m hanging on by a thread and really need a serious boost of energy.

Just keep in mind that the half and half also ramps up the calorie content, so you can opt for a different milk to cut that down significantly.

12. French Toast Frost

Dutch Bros French Toast Frost with Caramel Drizzle
French Toast Frost Standard Ingredients
  • Ice Cream Base
  • brown sugar Syrup
  • cinnamon
  • white chocolate Syrup

French Toast is easily one of my favorite foods, so I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive the first time I tried the French Toast Frost.

However, this rich, velvety milkshake really won me over with the combo of brown sugar, cinnamon, and white chocolate.

It actually reminded me of a cinnamon roll as well  - a perfect alternative for a hot, summer day.

You can also try it with Dutch Bros white coffee!

13. Aquaberry Rebel

Dutch Bros Aquaberry Rebel
Aquaberry Rebel Standard Ingredients
  • Dutch Bros Rebel™ energy drink
  • strawberry Syrup
  • blue raspberry Syrup
  • watermelon Syrup
  • kiwi Syrup

The Aquaberry Rebel is no stranger to making waves on Instagram and TikTok, with its stunning blend of bright colors that will mentally transport you to vacation on a tropical beach somewhere.

With a base of Dutch Bros’ Rebel Energy Drink, they sweeten the deal with strawberry, blue raspberry, watermelon, and kiwi flavors.

The Small packs a whopping 63 grams of sugar, so I always ask for it to be sugar-free.

This summer drink will cool you down and give you an energy and sugar rush.

Tips From a Barista
  • If you order the Aquaberry Rebel ‘sugar-free’, you may want to consider doubling the syrup amount, as the SF flavors are a bit weaker than the regular flavors.

14. Iced Grand Canyon OG

Dutch Bros Iced Sugar-Free Grand Canyon OG
Iced Grand Canyon OG Standard Ingredients
  • half coffee
  • half chocolate milk
  • white chocolate Syrup
  • dark chocolate syrup
  • chocolate macadamia nut Syrup

The Iced Grand Canyon OG is made with half coffee and half chocolate milk blended with coffee.

It’s blended with chocolate macadamia nut, white chocolate, and dark chocolate syrups, giving it an intense flavor profile.

I love the Dutch Bros Cookie Breve on their regular menu, and this is the same drink with dark chocolate added.

If you’re a fan of the White Chocolate Annihilator, you’ll love this one, too. This one is just slightly more chocolatey, with a subtle nuttiness.

15. Mango Strawberry Smoothie

Dutch Bros Mango Strawberry Smoothie
Mango Strawberry Smoothie Standard Ingredients
  • mango Syrup
  • strawberry syrup

The Mango Strawberry Smoothie has a delicious combination of mango and strawberry syrups, creating a fruity and refreshing beverage.

The standard recipe is simple and tasty, but I can’t recommend adding blackberry and passionfruit syrups enough.

It really elevates the taste - even more so if you add whip or a soft top to it!

This is a popular one for after soccer practice, a day at the pool, or simply walking around town.

Blended with fruit and ice, it’s hydrating and not too sweet, like many smoothies can be.

16. White Zombie Mocha

Dutch Bros Iced White Zombie Mocha
White Zombie Mocha Standard Ingredients
  • Dutch Bros' signature white coffee
  • chocolate milk
  • white chocolate syrup
  • whipped cream

You absolutely won’t be feeling like a zombie after a few sips of the Dutch Bros White Zombie Mocha!

This signature drink combines rich chocolate milk, sweet white chocolate syrup, and fluffy whipped cream for a truly indulgent experience.

A lot of people who like “lighter” tasting coffee order with their blonde espresso instead, but I really like the bold and sweet combo of the original version.

Available in hot, iced, or blended, this White Zombie Mocha packs in 14 grams of fat and 62 grams of sugar.

You can order it blended or iced or even ask the Broista to add green or black tea for a more clean and natural caffeine boost.

I love taking this lemonade to the beach as it’s light on the stomach and tastes like vacation.

The Chocolate Macadamia Annihilator Standard Ingredients
  • espresso
  • half and half
  • chocolate macadamia nut syrup

This isn’t my daily drinker due to the relatively high calorie and sugar content, but it’s AMAZING and I wish I could drink it every day.

The Macadamia Chocolate Annihilator is a classic drink made with espresso coffee, chocolate macadamia nut syrup, and half-and-half, creating a  velvety, dessert-like drink

The Macadamia Chocolate Annihilator is available in iced, hot, or blended options, but I personally think it’s best hot.

How To Order Drinks At Dutch Bros

1. Decide On Your Drinks Size

There are four Dutch Bros cup sizes: kids, small, medium, and large.

Kid's size is 10 ounces and is only available for kid-friendly drinks such as Dutch Frosts, Smoothies, Dutch Sodas, and Not So Hots (chocolate milk steamed to a kid-friendly warm temperature).

Hot Drinks

  • Small = 12 ounces
  • Medium = 16 ounces
  • Large = 20 ounces

Ice and Blended Drinks

  • Small = 16 ounces
  • Medium = 24 ounces
  • Large = 32 ounces

2. Do You Want It Hot, Iced, Blended, or Toasted?

You can get most drinks hot, iced, or blended, and some cold brew drinks are toasted (hot).

3. Know The Name of the drink

The most important step is knowing the name of your drink. The drink's name tells the Broista which syrups and flavorings your drink needs. Flavored syrups you can order are:

  • Coconut syrup
  • Almond Roca syrup
  • Hazelnut syrup
  • Irish cream syrup

…and much more. You can obviously get the coffee flavor, but you can also order drinks with passion fruit, caramel flavor, mocha flavoring, and lime flavors, to name a few.

There is also a secret menu, and while most Broistas are familiar with the secret menu drinks, you may have to elaborate on which modifications are needed.

How To Customize Dutch Bros Drinks

There are Various Coffee Options

Dutch Bros uses a regular private reserve espresso blend. However, they have quite a few coffee options and can use any of them in its place.

  • A sugar packet added between pulls of regular espresso.
  • White coffee
  • Domino
  • Lightly roasted and more caffeine.
  • Cubano
  • Decaf
  • Fireball
  • Half white coffee and half regular espresso.
  • Half-caf
  • Double-shot Cubano with cinnamon added between pulls of espresso

You Have Various Milk Options Available

  • Chocolate milk
  • Nonfat milk
  • Kick Me Mix (half & half blend): Dutch Bros puts their Kick Me Mix in their coffee drinks with milk by default.
  • Coconut milk
  • Almond milk
  • Oat milk
  • Heavy whip
  • 2% milk
Note: They no longer offer soy milk. If you don't specify a type of milk, the signature half & half blend will be used.

Ask For These Ice Options

  • Cold pour: A less common customization, but if you’d prefer no ice in your cold drink and still filled to the top, ask for a “cold pour.” There may be an extra charge.
  • Less ice
  • More ice
  • No ice: They will leave out the ice to let you add your own after the drink is prepared. You’ll essentially get half a drink since there is room left for ice.

Do You Want a Soft top?

Dutch Bros soft tops are one of my favorite things in this world. They’re a light and creamy topping made from whipped buttermilk, sitting somewhere between a cold foam (but better) and marshmallow.

It can be added to any cold drink to enhance its flavor and texture.

Whats About Picture Perfect?

Get your camera out, because you can order just about any drink “picture perfect.” This means your drink will be topped with whipped cream, chocolate drizzle, and caramel drizzle.

You Can Get As Sugar-Free As Possible

There are popular, year-round sugar-free syrup flavors (like vanilla, caramel, and chocolate) and sometimes seasonal ones.

If you want as little sugar as possible when ordering a drink, just tell them to “make it as sugar-free as possible.”

Ask For a Not So Hot Temperature

I don’t know about you, but I really don’t have the self-control to resist drinking anything from Dutch Bros as soon as it’s handed to me.

This has unfortunately resulted in many-a-burnt tongue.

I wish I knew that you could order any hot beverage at a lower temperature (100ºF) by asking for the drink to be “not so hot” or the “kids’ temperature”.
